Medical and Healthcare Internship in Vietnam

Gain practical experience in medicine and healthcare in this internship abroad, which you can customize based on your specialization. Placements are in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh, and you can focus on various areas: nursing, optometry, acupuncture, and critical care. The Medical and Healthcare Internship in Vietnam is available all year round and lasts 4–24 weeks or longer.

Your placement will be shaped by your specifications, which will meet patients’ needs at the time of your service. You’ll undergo on-the-job training while working alongside locally trained staff and receiving supervision from an expert in your field of study. Throughout your time in the hospital, you’ll have the opportunity to build a professional network. At the end of your internship, you will produce a report or presentation to reflect on your learnings and share recommendations with the local team.

This program requires you to be enrolled in or have graduated from university, or have relevant work experience. You must be fluent in English to communicate effectively with the local staff and patients. You must also be proficient in using a computer as well as demonstrate interpersonal and soft skills.
