Environmental Conservation Internship in Peru

Develop leadership and field studies skills on this internship abroad. Based in a local national park on the hills of the Peruvian Amazon, this project has three main areas of focus: socio-economics, ecosystem services, and biodiversity. Through the study of animal distribution, behavior, and ecology, students will begin to understand the relationship between wildlife and the forest. The Environmental Conservation Internship in Peru is a skills-based placement lasting more than 6 months. You will alongside project coordinators to carry out research on forest regeneration and the park’s wildlife—including butterflies, birds, reptiles, mammals, and others.
