Dentistry Internship in Ghana
Program Overview
RECRUITING NOW!
This internship is an opportunity to gain experience within a dental department of a hospital in Cape Coast and possibly some credits to go towards your degree. Ghanaians have access to dental treatment in most major hospitals. The setup and the working conditions are very different from what you are accustomed to in your home country. The dental department deals with emergencies as well as routine dental appointments.
During this internship, you will be exposed to the challenges dentists, as well as patients in need of dental care, encounter in developing countries. The lack of knowledge on preventative dental hygiene might expose you to advanced dental conditions. This is a great experience abroad to help launch your medical dental career.
You must either be a professional in the field or a student currently studying related courses to be eligible for this program. If you are planning to study dentistry, you can also apply for this internship, although you must demonstrate a strong commitment to the field.
