The volunteers and interns will be placed in the Paralegal centers, in which Legal aid clinics coach and empower clients with the necessary knowledge of legal and court procedures to enable them to represent their cases in Court. The volunteer work at this project involves legal counseling and reconciliation sessions on legal issues like labor law, employment, matrimony, land, contract, children’s rights, tort, probate, etc. You will work in the following fields of expertise Advocacy Administration Organization development Publication Research . Some of the Activities: 1. Gender awareness and mainstreaming within societies and their programmers, including paralegals, Village Legal Workers, and Human Rights Monitors at the grassroots. 2. Implementation of projects that advocate for the domestication and Implementation of rights of vulnerable groups in Tanzania.  (The Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Rights of Women, 2003) 3. Gender and children advocacy and advisory services to the government, civil societies, and the general public. 4. HIV victims' awareness rights and duties through community outreach visits.

Program Highlights

Assist in legal counseling, reconciliation sessions, and client advocacy in areas such as labor law, employment, family law, land, contracts, children’s rights, tort, and probate.

Gain experience in advocacy, administration, organization development, research, and publication within legal aid and human rights projects.

Support initiatives on gender awareness, children’s rights, and the protection of vulnerable groups in local communities.

Participate in outreach programs to educate communities on HIV victims’ rights, legal procedures, and access to justice.

Work on projects advocating the domestication and implementation of rights protocols, including the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights on the Rights of Women (2003).
