IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH

I enjoyed my time in Germany so much that I decided to stay long-term. Since December, I’ve been in the role of Inside Sales Engineer with Fife Tidland GmbH, a multinational company providing solutions for web-handling. It was a good thing that internationality was such a major dimension of the IU experience, as I deal with clients from Western Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

When it came time for expanding my horizons, I was determined to study in Germany. It’s a nation whose famous standards in engineering and manufacturing are matched by the quality of its educational institutions and, located as it is in the heart of Europe, it provides access to a strong network of national economies and international companies. I was also excited to get to know more about the culture, society and people of Germany. I was drawn to IU (formerly known as IUBH) specifically thanks to its excellent record of alumni success, world-class teaching and research. Hand-in-hand with the university’s academic standards was its international nature – which I knew would help me further develop my intercultural communication skills.

I glad to be a participant of the program as studying from everywhere in one certificated university such as mine (IU University of Applied Sciences). I knew that I will meet some obstacles, and it has lots of pros for me as well. First of all, I want to list the positive sides that I noticed during the several months of studying here. They are such as follows: 1) Qualitative knowledge: we have fully acquired to read any books from the online library. The University get access to be free and engaged by doing it! My course give me the opportunity to use any sources that I want to use on my assignments and studies. That is really cool; 2) Flexibility at any form: I can live and study overall whenever I am. I can do it at night or even laying on the sofa! I can spend convenient for me amount of time studying. In addition, I can miss some days and do extra on the other; 3) Motivation: my University suggest to help at any way when you want to get motivation. For instance, it could be helping from Study Coach or just support from the common university assistant. Of course, they make our communities on the social networking where study-buddies can share their experiences and assist everybody; 4) Wide range of getting skills: we have access to diversity sites that suggest you to gain and consolidate your knowledge, we have lots of Zoom events about career talking, study coaching and other. By the way, twice per month professors spend time with students that want to ask something related to study or some of them make lectures in Zoom every week; 5) Having own study platform: it is working quickly and comfortable (picture how it looks). By and large, it is adorable to be here. Live in my hometown and study abroad! It gives me such a lot of inspiration to develop! The second point, it is cons list. I want to highlight only two majors for me, they are: 1. Communication with the University service office - that is a big trouble due to the fact that they answer during the long time (it could be more than 2 weeks) 2. Lack of interactions compare to offline study: we have events but do not have so much with just life sharing experiences. To sum up, the most people should try to participate on these programs to struggle with yourself and get lots of new skills and opportunities!

Despite big commitments in work and family, IU International University has given me a wonderful opportunity to continue studying with excellent quality courses materials and educational media from anywhere and anytime.

I am rounding up one year of my 3YEARS online Bachelors degree at IU university of applied Sciences. My experience so far has been worthwhile. The quality of materials at IU are great and summarized such at even the most busy student can glance through and get an insight of the aim of the topic is. For most courses there are also some 1min-2min video explanation that gives you a classroom feel or audio visual comprehension aid. IU also offers a great library of academic databases for researches of any kind. However, the university comes short on social interactions for students, this can make your stay feel a little lonely or boring. Personally I feel IU university is great and definitely worth applying to; Don't take my word for it, Research and give it a shot! I will be delighted to answer any questions you might have regarding the university. PS: This review is for IU online studies, I have little knowledge of the onsite university.

I was supposed to start uni in holland, but got a sudden job offer in Australia. Obviously I couldn't say no. I knew I wanted to get my degree anyways and quickly found my way to IU. And I love it, I can choose my classes whenever it suits me, I can decide when I want to write my exams and best of all if I have a busy schedule at work, I'm not missing out on classes.

For IU International University of Applied Sciences is your go to institution if you're searching for where to study from the comfort of your bedroom. Although a new student accepted in July 2022 but I can tell you that it feels so real like i'm in Germany live on campus. I've had privilege of communicating with colleagues all over the world and increasing my skillset too. The Live tutorials, lecturers, Course feeds Sprint learning are all top-notch and I couldn't be happier with myself for not missing this opportunity at first. Thanks IU, you're simply the best

I spent months searching for a Master's online degree in Information Technology from an accredited and well-reputed university to improve my knowledge. IU is one of the best so far. I'm literally enjoying my study at IU.

Studying in Germany was an easy choice for me, as it’s simply the most attractive destination in the EU for international students. When it came to selecting a city and an institution, IU (formerly known as IUBH) Berlin was top of my list: a highly regarded, state-accredited business university in a fabulous, diverse and exciting global hub – what more could I want! From my first day at IU, I felt at home. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and I made so many new friends from a wide range of backgrounds. Indeed, it was this diversity amongst the students that I enjoyed most about my IU experience. As for the professors and faculty, I found them great – so friendly and helpful. It was true that the workload could get intense, but that just gave me a reason to work on my time management skills! All in all, studying at IU was amazing, a relatively short period of time in which I learned and experienced more than I ever expected.

As for my choice of university, there was a variety of factors that attracted me to IU: for one, their Master programmes are offered entirely in English, and I loved their commitment to small-group teaching, the practice-oriented ethos, and the internationality of the campus environment. It was also a big advantage that during our third semester in particular, all our lectures were taught by industry experts, which really helped me understand how the skills I was learning would help me in an actual HR role.

My favourite thing about studying at IU is that it is very flexible, and I think that is the best thing: that you can manage your time the way you want. However, if you choose a degree programme and want to study, you have to take responsibility for the next few years and invest the time. But this flexibility is a very good argument for the degree programme. Another positive point for me is the IU experience. When you teach for many years with many, many thousands of students, you keep growing and you are so well known that you have already converted many of your degree programmes completely to online... for me that was a very big plus. This also proved to be very beneficial in my subsequent job search. ;)

My degree at IU gave me a comprehensive overview of the business administration side of things. So now I know that it’s not just about understanding processes; I also know what it means to complete a high quality IT project on time and in budget. Through virtual lecture rooms and digital lecture notes, online learning at IU is particularly suitable if you work irregular hours or at different locations.
