Go to Prague! dont regret not studying abroad and missing your chance

I studied abroad in Prague, Czech republic, with ISA in Fall, 2025. I had an amazing time in Prague, the program and its staff were amazing and went above and beyond to give us a good experience in their country. ISA provided us with amazing housing, an apartment close to the city center, and free transportation passes so that we could go all around the city for free! We were also provided with any resources we could need, medical, academic, etc. I felt very comfortable with the staff and could tell that they wanted very much for everyone to just have the best time possible. In addition to the facilities we were provided, we had the opportunity to explore other parts of the continent, with hotels, food, tours and most fun of all getting to be with the rest of the program members and friends. The trips, both day and overnight were so fun and completely paid for. I would reccomend going in your program provides these events. My favorite places events that ISA created were, Vienna, Thanksgiving Dinner, Cesky Krumlov and Berlin :) I also had a great school Anglo american university; this school was very warm and welcoming, with small classes and lots of club events and even a garden full of peacocks in the back of the school it was very easy to make friends, even more so than my time at my home university. I am forever grateful to all of the ISA's staff; Daniela, Lucie, Yachim, and Tomas were so kind and helpful, I felt like they werent just staff but friends too. Im so happy that I got to experince this study abroad in Prague, and will forever miss the city, experiences and all of the friends i made there. I highly reccomend this program to everyone, and think that they should take full atvantage of what is offered, make as many friends as possible, make time both to travel and to appreciate the country they are in, and Cafe 80's, Cafe Alchimista, U sudu, U fleku, and eat beef goulash. This experience, made me grow and I came back happier, more confident and more open to the world and people around me :)

Best 3 months of my life

The 3 months I spent in Prague were genuinely the best 3 months of my life. Everything was sorted before we arrived and once we arrived at the airport we were taken to our accommodation. I lived in an apartment in Prague 3 with 2 other girls, and it was a great location. I know some other people in our program had a longer commute from across the river to get to classes, so I think I might have gotten lucky with the accomodation location. If I remember correctly, there was a cleaner who came in once a week. The place was fully furnished and stocked with a full kitchen. There were also transit passes (if you selected the option to have ISA organize it for you pre-arrival) waiting for us in our apartment on the kitchen table. The program also arranged a few excursions throughout the semester to Vienna, Austria, and other places in the Czech Republic. The only downside was that I went in the fall of 2021 which was still when many colleges weren’t sending students abroad due to COVID, so we mostly just had classes with other students from my college. I assume during non-COVID times, the classes have many other international students. I somehow ended up having 4 day weekends, so that allowed me to travel a lot, which was the best part of this experience. I mostly took marketing classes, but the class selection was limited because of the lower number of students studying abroad in the program due to COVID.

10/10 I loved it!

The city of Prague and my study abroad experience changed my life! I gained a newfound self-confidence and was able to understand my emotions and future goals in a way I never had before. The accommodations were amazing, and the apartment I stayed in was nicer than any place I could rent in the States. I will be going back and I so very thankful for this experience!

Best semester of my life

I studied at the University of Economics in Prague fall 2018. It was one of the most enriching and exciting adventures I have ever been on. The staff for both pre-departure and at the ISA location in Prague were the kindest, most helpful people that really wanted us to succeed in the study abroad. The ISA staff in Prague were incredibly approachable and I felt completely comfortable talking to them and asking questions. Prague itself was an amazing place to go to school. There is always so much to do in the city and the country has such a unique history that is amazing to learn about first hand. ISA offers a high amount of independence, which I loved because I felt like I could do things my own way. This does mean that any immersion into the culture is really up to you and what you make with your time. Make sure to take advantage of being in such a cool city!!

Secondary Europe

This was the second time that I had been abroad in Europe, the first time was living in Zurich, Switzerland. Living in Prague, Czech Republic made me feel more down to earth when I was there. I felt that Switzerland was an amazing country but almost like a fairy tale and I learned what it cost to live in a fairy tale. Prague was filled with the enriched Eastern European lifestyle. Very held back people from deeper feelings but you could tell that they had meaning behind every move they made. A hard working and serious community made me think back to my own work ethic and how people had lived. It also made me appreciate where Prague had come from. Ultimately, it made me touch back into my European side which was free, full of great bread, a balcony, an espresso to start my day, a walk in the parks after classes, a tram ride to my street, a sophisticated drink to end my night, and always a cosmic conversation.

Living in Prague is very affordable. The tram and bus system is easy to navigate. The language is hard to get use to at first but you will be surprised about how much you can pick up. Czech people are also very friendly and kind once YOU reach out to them.

A Unique and Enriching Study Abroad Experience

ISA was extremely organized and professional before, during, and after my time in Prague. I learned just as much in the classroom as I did outside of the classroom, and my professors made sure that field trips and cultural excursions were a part of the learning experience as well. ISA's resident staff made it easy to integrate into a new life and culture. They provided weekly educational and fun excursions either within Prague or in other parts of the country. My apartment was spacious and located right next to a metro station. The program and the city are both affordable. The ISA staff and Charles University professors did a great job of introducing students to everything there is to learn, see, and do in this unique city.

Spending day-to-day activities with new best friends, walking around the city, and just being totally immersed in the new culture were truly memorable. I chose this program because it was affordable, has good reviews, and went with my major requirements.

ISA is so student oriented. Any questions or problem I had was dealt with quickly and their main concern was that I had the best experience possible. Prague is magical and ISA made it unforgettable.

I loved studying abroad and I believe that every college student should go somewhere different and new for at least a semester. My four months in the Czech Republic were some of the best times ever and I accredit ISA and ISA staff for enriching my experience abroad!
