Mental Health and Culture Exchange in Egypt | BETTER MINDS
by: IRIS Egypt
The Program “Better Minds” for International Youth is a 4 days training in Alexandria, Egypt. We focus on the importance of mental health for young people who travel, volunteer or work with people from different cultures. International youth exchanges offer powerful learning experiences, but they also come with responsibilities related to participants’ wellbeing, mental health, and safety. Youth workers and group leaders play a key role in creating supportive environments, preventing crises, and responding effectively when challenges arise. This training course is designed for experienced youth workers, organisers, and group leaders who wish to strengthen their competences in ensuring participant wellbeing and safety during international mobility activities.
