Volunteer in Cape Verde with IVI - Affordable Programs!
Program Overview
Cape Verde is a hidden gem in the Atlantic Ocean, and is known for its warm hospitality, volcanic landscapes, and pristine beaches. Visitors are drawn to its dramatic mountains, turquoise waters, and charming coastal towns. Whether you’re hiking up volcanic peaks, diving with sea turtles, or dancing to traditional morna music, Cape Verde delivers a unique and unforgettable island experience.
Volunteering in Cape Verde offers the opportunity to form a deep connection with the local community and make a lasting impact. You may be working with children in under-resourced schools, assisting in community development projects, supporting conservation efforts, or helping improve basic healthcare outreach. Life on the islands can be simple, with limited infrastructure in some areas, but the warmth and resilience of the Cape Verdean people make for a truly rewarding experience.
