This volunteer program involves teaching English to students in various local schools. Our local team has strong relationships with several child development centers, kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools in Hua Hin. The students may be anywhere from 6 to 12 years of age. The teachers and schools are fairly open to different approaches to teaching, allowing you to be creative and teach in your own style. You can share your own ideas, concepts, and approaches and combine methods with the local teachers. Many of the local teachers are not fluent in English. You won't only teach the children, but also interact with the other teachers, which is a fantastic opportunity for them to pick up the English language. January 31, 2025by: Ann S - GermanyProgram: English Teaching in Hua Hin, ThailandI really liked the volunteering because it gave me so much insight on Thai culture and also on the school structure. It was interesting to see how different the individual schools and children were. I also really liked socializing with the other volunteers. The accommodation was good and I also really liked the pool. The Team was always nice and helpful and provided a great Support. The food was good especially on Thursday.
