New Orleans is unlike any other city in the United States, and that has a lot to do with the booming Art, Culture and Music scene. As a volunteer on the Art and Community Outreach project, you will have a unique and immersive opportunity to support the community and culture.
This project is suited to those who have an appreciation for culture and a belief in the power of art in community development.
Volunteers on the Art and Community Outreach project will be involved in recycling beads from Mardi Gras, working at local art or music festivals, supporting museums and art education programs, and restoring local cemeteries. There is also scope to assist with clerical and administrative tasks, website, social media and data management.

My favorite moment from the experience was seeing people come into the food center and how gracious and friendly they are. 1st world developed countries still have people in desperate need of help. The Hostel was perfect in every way. Bed was more comfortable than my own one. Great facilities. Extremely friendly staff.. What have you truly got to lose except fantastic memories to look back on.
