This placement is ideal for gap-year travellers, students, or anyone passionate about education and community support. Your hosted volunteer experience includes airport pick-up, a full orientation, accommodation in a volunteer house or homestay depending on placement, two meals daily, and 24/7 support from the local team. Program Highlights
Programs start every first and third Monday of each month
Duration from 1 to 12 weeks
Includes airport pick-up, orientation, homestay accommodation, breakfast, and 24/7 in-country support
Volunteer 3 to 5 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, assisting students who need extra help in local schools and community education centres in Quito
Tutor students, help with homework, give extra attention to children who are new or struggling, boost students’ confidence, and provide encouragement and support to help them succeed in school

Inspirational, well-organized, amazing, hardwork
February 10, 2015by: lmeninI love kids, and I wanted to do something that would make a difference in the lives of the kids who could really use some support so I chose this program. My memorable experience was seeing how passionate Danny, Alejandro, and Alexandra are about improving the lives of the children. Also, the week we did gender equality I was very impressed by how committed they are to teaching the kids values and encouraging them to think differently.

February 10, 2015by: ltnguyen24The opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes work of an NGO and volunteer for a good cause. Getting greeted warmly by the street kids every week we come back as it means they welcome us and what we do. Also, seeing them improved and progress every week is memorable.
