An unforgettable, life-changing experience!
March 26, 2023by: Melissa GonzalezProgram: IVHQ Teaching Volunteer Program in Cordoba, Argentina
Don’t miss out on a life changing experience! Go in with a positive, flexible attitude and an open mind. The experience will leave such an impact on you and the friends that you make along the way will be lifelong. Getting to work with the community first hand and really seeing the impact I made in such a short period of time has inspired me to continue volunteering and giving back to communities that need it most. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing their faces light up with so much gratitude just by being there and I’ll never forget those student's tiny smiles and bright eyes, their happiness was so contagious. Pedro and Nati are also such a warm and loving family and I was made to feel like a member of the family from day one. It’s an experience I’ll cherish always.

My three weeks in Argentina were truly amazing and an experience I will value forever. This was my first experience traveling abroad, which was scary for me, but The IVHQ team made everything so easy for me and they are all great people. I wish I would have stayed longer! I loved interacting with the kids at my teaching placement, and the teaching program was more than rewarding. I would definitely do it all over again!
