Homeless Support in Athens, Greece

Join and help provide essential assistance to people experiencing homelessness. You will support local organisations by preparing and distributing meals, organising donated clothing and hygiene items, and helping operate day centers. Volunteers may also assist with simple outreach activities, helping connect individuals with available resources, offering conversation and companionship, and supporting practical tasks that make daily life a little easier for those in difficult circumstances.

Your work helps ensure vulnerable people have access to food, hygiene supplies, social support, and a sense of dignity. By contributing to daily operations, you help reduce hunger, improve wellbeing and strengthen the reach of community services that many rely on during challenging times.

This program is open to volunteers aged 18 and above. Placements run from one to twelve weeks, with volunteer commitments of around three to five hours per day. Shared accommodation, meals, orientation, and in-country support are provided.
