Program Highlights
Programs start on the first and third Monday of the month. Duration from 1 to 16 weeks and volunteer up to 5 hours per day
Includes airport pick up, orientation, dormitory-style volunteer house accommodation in Livingstone, meals and 24/7 in-country support
Tasks may include providing companionship, serving meals, assisting with general care, cleaning, gardening, and general maintenance
Work alongside local staff in under-resourced facilities to support vulnerable seniors who may be homeless, ill or have disabilities
Gain experience in elderly care, improve care facility conditions, enhance your communication skills and immerse yourself in Zambian culture and community life
