Just finished my TEFL Academy class. It's been an eye-opening and life-changing experience. The course (Mine was online) was very well presented. Clear expectations and instructions were given at each step along the way. Our instructor was accessible, thoughtful and helpful. The homework was exacting but also clearly geared toward preparing teachers for a variety of potential jobs. I also very much appreciated the videos from various instructors that augmented various topics and strategies. And it seems like I met some wonderful people even though it was entirely an online class. I'm looking forward to the next step.

International TEFL was amazing. I want to say so much about this company. But I will only say this. They care and they are helpful for every single thing you may have a questions about. Friendly, knowledgable and amazing.

This course has very successfully prepared me for my future teaching career abroad. I love being secure in the fact that, if ever I need it, Student Affairs will help me with job searches, wherever I may wish to go!

This course was great! in my opinion it covered all important information while being challenging yet not boring. My professor was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and understanding! The course has a large variety of resources and provides job assistance to their students! I would highly recommend using TEFL International to achieve your TEFL credential!

I really enjoyed this course. I had some issues with the website but everyone was so helpful and patient with me that I feel comfortable recommending this class to people that are scared of online classes or are not good with technology. Also I love that the ITA has Job Search Guidance, it's one of the reasons I chose this program. I have already got emails about job opportunities overseas and I am so excited to start applying! Hopefully I will be working in Japan soon! I have gotten better career counseling from ITA than I have ever gotten from my 4 year university!

ITA made a wild dream become an easy reality. Okay, it wasn't SIMPLE, but I was no longer alone and I was given resources to make it happen. Since the first time I reached out, I was encouraged that what I wanted was possible and all my questions were answered honestly. It seemed insane to want to drop everything and leave the country to teach abroad, but ITA welcomed me into a community full of dreamers and teachers that desired the same things I do. The course gives you experience in things you might have never done before so that by the end of the course you realize you've practiced everything you're about to work in. I highly recommend ITA for their community, ample resources, and course that includes 20 mandatory practice hours.

I have really enjoyed taking this TEFL class online and feel that it has really helped me practically apply the content in lesson plans. I am excited to do my practicum in NYC and practice what I've learned.

I had researched Teaching English to Foreign Language students for a year. Finally, I had decided I was going to do it. Get my certification and teach so I could travel. I took the 11 weeks online and while it was a little adjustment I really enjoyed it. I like how you had to contact an advisor before you could sign up because it made me feel assured that they weren’t a scam business. Also I hit the perfect time for signing up in the fall because there was a lot of discounts and I was able to find a payment plan that was able to work for me. Everyone that I talked to at the academy was very helpful and resourceful and there for me and still is today. They can answer any questions or concerns that I have about teaching and it make me feel better. The resources are endless and I highly recommend taking the TEFL course with TEFL academy. My online experience was great and my in-class observations were very helpful. Observe as much as you can. All in all I had a great experience. Teach English and travel.

the TEFL academy course is very rewarding and great for people who love to travel and experience new countries and partake in different cultures. the lessons learned during the course will prepare you for achieving and accomplishing your dreams of traveling the world and leading a fun and exciting lifestyle. The instructors of the course have so much knowledge and experience that the classroom time is a fun mix of grammar lessons filled with real world experience.

I loved doing the ITA course. It has given me the basics on being a teacher from lesson planning to types of learners I may encounter, and allowed me to let my creativity run wild. Super helpful 24/7!

ITA has given me the confidence to start looking for jobs abroad. I came into this with no teaching experience at all, and although I know we are always learning as teachers, I feel like I have been given a big boost over those who did not attend ITA!

My experience thus far with ITA has been wonderful. I love the support available and my instructor teacher Quinn has given me all the tools necessary to succeed. The feedback has also been crucial and keeps me motivated.

After a great deal of personal reflection, I came to the conclusion that teaching English abroad was something that I truly had to do. With International TEFL Academy's online course, I was prepared to pursue that dream in a shorter time than I would have thought possible. My enrollment advisor and Student Affairs made sure I was well informed going in, and I am glad to say that it was a very positive learning experience. I met some interesting challenges and was forced to be creative in ways I wasn't used to. Through it all, I developed a very strong "teacher mentality" that I plan to put to good use in the near future.

My overall experience with ITA has been very positive. This is not an easy course, and I appreciate the extra effort they go to help their students be successful. I haven't been in school for many years and was at first intimidated about going back. The online program was a great way to get back into the learning process and I don't feel as if I've missed anything from not going to a physical classroom. My instructor was very good, detailed with instruction and feedback. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a TEFL certification.

I enjoyed my course. My teacher demonstrated deep knowledge of the topic. My advisor prior to the course was instrumental in helping me find programs in the country I plan to teach in. He was always readily available.

I learned a lot from the book and the experience of this allowed me to want to teach ESL students even more. I learn ways that I can help myself and my students to learn English and practice outside of class.

I researched for weeks for the right program and I was worried for how much this course was but let me tell you!! I currently have an associates degree in early childhood development and a bachelors degree in early childhood education and I literally learned EVERYTHING in the 11 weeks with ITA. I spent 6 years of my life learning how to be a teacher and ITA teaches you EVERYTHING you need to know to become a teacher. I could of just taken this course and know just as much as someone who has a BA in teaching. This program is legit, the professors hold you to a high standard and provide great support and feedback, and the content is amazing and informational! This program doesn't just teach you about the English language but how to be an effective prepared teacher. Stop looking and just commit.
