Independent Internship in Thailand with ISDSI
Program Overview
ISDSI offers independent 8-week internships in the summer (June through July). Internships are a unique opportunity to explore a field or topic you are interested in, help you prepare for graduate school, explore an area you are curious about, or see if this might be something you’d like to do more of.
Each internship placement is developed in collaboration with the student and host organization. While there is no "list" of available internships, most partner organizations are willing to work with ISDSI and each student to create unique learning opportunities.
We work with several NGOs (non-government organizations), government clinics and offices, small businesses, community enterprises, and others. Some of the areas where we have placed students include (but are not limited to!) the following:
Sustainable agriculture
Public health
Veterinary and pre-vet animal care
Child development
Education
Environmental science
Community development
Human rights
Entrepreneurship
Health care
and more!
