The Certificate Program

If you are an intermediate to advanced dancer seeking specialized training for a professional dance career, the Peridance Center Certificate Program is the perfect fit! This two-year intensive program consists of 72 weeks of study divided into four semesters, providing a comprehensive pathway for dancers to develop their skills and pursue professional opportunities. Designed for ages 17-25, open to domestic and international students, and based on a selective audition process, this post-secondary program immerses you in the vibrant dance scene of New York City, surrounded by talented peers and innovative instructors. With two distinct tracks—Contemporary/Ballet and Commercial—the Certificate Program allows you to tailor your training to your specific career goals in the dynamic world of dance. The Ballet/Contemporary track emphasizes classical dance and repertoire, paving the way for opportunities in company and concert stage work. The Commercial track integrates Ballet and Modern dance to lay the foundations for entry into the commercial entertainment industry, with classes in Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, Voguing, Popping, House, and Choreography.
