The three-year BA-IM has start dates in September and February and encompasses 30 courses. Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an English proficiency test?
The English proficiency test is waived for native speakers and students who have studied at least two years in English. It is mandatory for the other applicants.
What is the age limit to apply for a bachelor degree?
Unfortunately, due to Swiss regulations, non-EU citizens over the age of 25 are not eligible for a student visa at the Bachelor level and therefore won't be able to join the classes on campus. Swiss and EU citizens do not have an age limit.
Does IIG help in the Visa application process?
Our Student Service department is ensuring a smooth visa application process by keeping in touch with the student and the Office of Migration.
Is there any student residency?
A range of student housing is available in Geneva from small and exclusive apartments to large residences, featuring their own facilities such as restaurants and study rooms. You have two choices: either you apply through the Institute for the residences below: Cité Vieusseux. Montbrillant, Studhome, Carlton and Rothschild student residence.
Do you offer scholarships?
We offer scholarships up to 30 % off the tuition fees for students who achieved a high GPA. You will be required to work 4 hours a week in the Institute. To be considered, applicants must have a high GPA, have recently completed their secondary/ undergraduate education and have serious financial difficulties. You can apply for a Scholarship by writing a request letter to be sent with your Application Form and Application file.
