The remote Legal Support for Human Rights Advocacy internship (hosted out of Tanzania) has empowered to be successful in my field as I learned a lot from my supervisor and I enjoyed that the most. I conducted relevant legal research in a foreign country to the standards of my peers. I have the confidence to tackle any challenge within the legal field. The internship also strengthened my passion for law and justice. It allowed me to see firsthand how legal systems operate in a different cultural and economic context, and it challenged me to think critically about fairness, access to justice, and professional ethics from that foreign environment.

Intern abroad found me an internship I really enjoyed doing! All my conditions that I wanted were met and the company that I did my internship with were also very good. The support I received from intern abroad was also great- I could always reach out via email and even had support during my interview. Although it may seem expensive I definitely thought the experience was worth it.

Professionally, it deepened my interest in global policy and grassroots organizing, while personally, it helped me grow more confident, independent, and open-minded. The experience gave me a clearer sense of purpose and direction in terms of the kind of work I want to pursue in the future. I really appreciated the guidance and support I received.
