USA Au Pair Placements Available Now
by: InterExchange
InterExchange Au Pair USA offers young adults from around the world the unique opportunity to live and work in the United States as au pairs for up to two years. Au pairs participate in a 12-month program with the option to extend for 6, 9, or 12 months. What is an au pair? An au pair is a caring live-in childcare provider between 18 and 26 who lives as an extended host family member in exchange for room, board, and a small stipend. In addition to providing childcare, an au pair's responsibilities may also include: * Dropping the children off at school * Picking them up from school or after-school activities * Helping with homework * Assisting in keeping the children's rooms clean * Cooking light meals for the children While au pairs mainly provide childcare for the host family, they have plenty of free time to make the most of their stay in the U.S. They receive a $500 credit for taking educational classes at local schools and participate in monthly meetings and activities planned with other au pairs in their community.

Aupair for 18 month
May 25, 2018by: Simon - FranceThe Aupair program with interexchange was one of the best experience in my life. The organisation guide you and help you all the way from the begining to the end. The are always here to answer your questions, doubt, down moments etc... The also set up a lot to male sure you get in your experience the best way possible : event, meetings, tips, advices, etc. You never feel alone with them and they work closely with you and your host family. Its a high quality job that they do. If you like traveling, learn about new culture, like kids and be involved in a foreign family. I advice you the aupair program with Interexchange. Thank you very much for this amazing experience !

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are host families located in the USA?
Au Pair USA works with host families across the United States. Most families live in suburban areas near major cities, while some are located within the cities themselves. No matter where your new host family lives, you can be sure it's a comfortable home where you will have your own room and plenty to see and do in your community.
How long is the Au Pair USA program?
The au pair program requires an initial 12-month commitment. If you successfully complete your first 12-months, you have the option of requesting a program extension for an additional 6, 9 or 12 months.
Do you accept male au pairs?
Yes, we place both male and female au pairs on our program.
Do I need to have experience driving a car?
Almost all host families need someone who can drive and has at least one year of driving experience. If you are a safe, experienced driver, then it will be easier for you to match with a host family. In most American cities, driving is the primary method of transportation.
