Because every university has different certification standards, we offer "Customized Pathways", we can adjust your placement length, the number of clinical hours (up to 100+), and the type of school environment to ensure the experience aligns perfectly with your home institution's specific requirements.

You will not be teaching alone. You will be paired with an experienced Spanish co-teacher in a bilingual K-12 classroom. Additionally, our academic team provides weekly mentorship and formal evaluations. This ensures you receive professional, standardized feedback that your home university can use to track your progress and award your final grade.

While some Spanish knowledge is helpful for daily life, it is not a requirement for the teaching placement itself. You will be placed in bilingual schools where the core subjects (Science, History, English, etc.) are taught in English. Your primary role is to assist with English-language instruction and master ESL/ELL (English as a Second Language) strategies, making this an ideal program for any education major.

Absolutely. We offer a "Study + Teach" combo. This allows you to complete your classroom placement during the day and take additional Liberal Arts or Spanish Language courses through Instituto Franklin-UAH in the afternoons or evenings. This is a great way to stay on track with your graduation timeline while gaining international professional experience.

Most students choose to live with a local host family, which provides full cultural immersion and includes all your meals. We also offer student residence options.
