Institute for Global Studies offers television and multimedia internships abroad, collaborating with entertainment stations and community news. While working together with on-air talent and leading broadcast producers, our interns gain hands-on experience in the industry. We also partner with university television stations and local public broadcasting, with smaller stations providing responsibilities right from day one. These include on-the-ground reporting, editing, and marketing. While most positions are behind the scenes, some students will have the opportunity to report on a story they have researched. Common duties on this internship involve: Research Interview Social media Digital editing Sound and lighting Marketing
