NGO Internship in Ecuador

Through World Internships, get the chance to work with local non-government organizations in the Ecuadorian capital – Quito. This internship finds you supporting initiatives that provide education to children and adults or promote health-related education on proper hygiene and sanitation, among others. Projects also include working on national poverty awareness campaigns, environmental conservation, and fundraising.

Your internship with the NGO varies, depending on your passions and skill sets. You will be tending to some of the projects at the center, including English language education, career coaching, administrative logistics, and creative curriculum planning. Gain a variety of skills, such as curriculum design, NGO administration, and language education.

Quito—the second highest official capital city in the world in terms of elevation—has a lot to offer international interns, from scenery and people to language and culture. While in the city, you will have the opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills, explore ruins of the Inca Empire, and visit the many parishes that tell the history of Ecuador under Spanish rule.
