Health Sciences Internship in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Make a lasting impact in your life and the lives of others during this internship abroad. The placement is at a state-sponsored health clinic in a rural area in Chiang Mai. For 4-12 weeks, you’ll work with other international interns and volunteers as well as community members.

The program offers an in-depth look into various health issues facing local communities across the region. You will help people take better care of themselves and their families through education on the mitigation and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases. Your role primarily involves shadowing healthcare professionals, but you could also run basic diagnostic tests and join educational health campaigns.
