Conservation & Community Development Internship in Thailand

Combine real responsibilities and complete cultural immersion in this internship with a nonprofit organization in rural Chiang Mai. The placement is in Kut Chang, a small rural community where you’ll support sustainable development initiatives. Help protect, restore, and promote the local environment through a multi-pronged approach.

As an intern, you’ll get involved with monitoring and improving development and agricultural practices, replanting and restoration of environmental species, and conservation programs. You’ll also take part in grassroots social development and community education projects, enabling you to develop communication and outreach skills. Build up your résumé with competencies in conservation, development research, wildlife survey, and reforestation. At the same time, fall in love with the warmth of the local community.
