Arts and Culture Internship (Community Theater)
Program Overview
Build up on your skills in the arts during this internship abroad! IGS works with many of the world’s top theaters, from Broadway to community theaters. These are small to mid-sized theaters offering real responsibilities and duties. Past interns have commented on the family atmosphere of their placement as well as the ease of meeting people they had things in common with.
Some of the theaters may be in session with ongoing productions, while others may be working behind the scenes in preparation for the next big event. We partner with theaters that allow our students to move between departments, including social media and marketing.
Duties usually involve the following:
Social media
Marketing
Set design
Ticket office
Construction
Community outreach
