What is a language immersion program?
On a language immersion program, you stay with a host and/or teacher living in the country where the language is spoken, you do language lessons and/or activities with the host and his/her family, and you share their daily life and culture. You also get to meet and chat with other native speakers. You learn the language by ‘living’ it, the best way to learn a language.
What are the benefits of an Influent language immersion program?
You learn the language by ‘living it’. You are the only student, the course is entirely tailored to you and your needs, lessons and/or activities are personalised and your host teacher designs a course based on your objectives. Whether beginner or advanced, your program is adapted to suit your level and your requirements.
What are the language immersion program dates?
There are no specific dates, you can book all year round, from a minimum of one week upwards. The courses are from Sunday to Saturday.
How long are Influent language courses and immersion programs?
They are usually between one and four to six weeks. We recommend a minimum of 2 weeks.
How do you ensure the perfect student/host teacher and family match?
We contact our Regional Manager with your details and ask them to provide the most suitable host family to match the requirements given on the enquiry or enrolment form. It is really important that you tell us as much as possible about yourself, likes/dislikes, allergies, special dietary requirements, if you like pets etc, so that we can ensure a good match
