Program Overview

Immersion English is an English language school based in Sofia, Bulgaria and offers a fully supervised 7-day English immersion program in Dublin, Ireland for teenagers aged 13–17.

Students take morning English classes at UCD (University College Dublin), explore Dublin and the surrounding countryside in the afternoons, and experience the language around the clock in one of Europe's most welcoming English-speaking cities.

All teaching is delivered by a CELTA-qualified native Irish teacher with over 10 years of experience, including at the British Council and summer programs in Oxford and Brighton. Groups are capped at 13 students, ensuring individual attention and close supervision throughout.

The program includes English classes at UCD, a full day trip to Glendalough, Kilkenny, and the Wicklow Mountains, and half day visits throughout Dublin with full supervision from arrival to departure. A pre-departure meeting is held in Sofia before travel.

Flights are arranged independently by families. Contact us for full programme details and pricing.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to all the most common questions about Immersion English.

What qualifications do our teachers have?

Our teachers have CELTA (Certificate in English Language Training to Speakers of Other Languages) qualifications as well as Young Learner teaching qualifications.

What will the timetable be?

Students are busy all day long and will have a balanced educational timetable, daily trips and free time between activities.

Are there any additional extra costs?

The program fee does not include flights and food.

We recommend a daily food allowance of €20–25. Teenagers have diverse nutritional needs and preferences, and we believe giving them the freedom to choose their own meals is part of growing in independence and confidence – one of the things that makes this program different.

Most students also bring around €50 for the week for souvenirs, snacks, and personal extras.
