IFSA University of Oxford, Worcester College Partnership
Founded in 1714, Worcester College offers a vibrant academic experience across a wide range of disciplines. It’s especially strong in computer science, economics, English, history, philosophy, and political science. Students engage in Oxford’s renowned tutorial system while learning in a historic setting that has produced notable alumni including composer Ralph Vaughan Williams and suffragette Emily Davison. IFSA alum Emma Watson once spent a semester here. Worcester is the only Oxford college with its own on-campus sports grounds. Students can take advantage of a gym, tennis courts, playing fields, and a boathouse along the Thames. The campus offers plenty of spots to unwind, including 26 acres of gardens featuring a tranquil lake and a fruit tree orchard. The college’s central location means students are within easy walking distance of lecture halls, shops, and cafés. Oxford’s train station is just a 10-minute walk away, making weekend travel convenient. Because spaces are limited—especially for single terms—students are encouraged to apply for a full academic year to improve their chances of being admitted.
