Spend eight weeks gaining real-world experience in Buenos Aires, a city known for its rich culture and vital role as one of Latin America’s leading economic centers. Whether your interests lie in social justice, politics, community development, business, or the arts, this internship program offers placements tailored to your academic and professional goals. All participants engage in the International Internship Seminar, conducted in English, which includes 15 hours of asynchronous online modules. The seminar encourages reflection on your internship experience, enhances your understanding of Argentine business culture, and helps you build key professional skills. You’ll also collaborate with IFSA peers interning in other countries through a shared online cohort. Internship placements are conducted in Spanish, allowing you to apply your language skills in a meaningful context. You may also choose to add an optional elective course to earn additional academic credit. This is an exclusive IFSA-designed program.

Program Highlights
Learn tango with two lively dance classes, including one in a traditional milonga followed by a delicious Argentine dinner.
Take a graffiti tour through La Boca to admire and photograph the neighborhood’s vibrant and iconic street art.
Practice Spanish during a fun and friendly language exchange with local Argentines at the IFSA Program Center.
Experience Argentine traditions at the Mataderos Fair, where you can enjoy local food and cultural festivities.
Visit La Plata on a day trip to explore the capital of Buenos Aires Province and tour the whimsical Republic of Children.
