Study at City St George’s, University of London with the Institute for Study Abroad! The university, located in Islington, near the heart of London, has a long tradition of professional education and strong ties to the city's historical and financial center. In fact, the university chancellor is the Lord Mayor of London. In addition to regular courses, City St George’s also offers "extension classes," which give study abroad students an opportunity to explore the culture of Britain outside the classroom. Activities and excursions are designed to pull participants into the communities they visit and encourage cultural connections of every kind. There’s no extra fee to participate in these optional outings—everything is included in the program fee.

Choose up to five courses per semester.
Live in the university halls of residence, all within walking distance of the campus.

Life in the heart of London!
October 22, 2019by: Lucas Graden - United StatesProgram: IFSA City St George’s, University of London PartnershipAt City, University of London, I was able to attend classes and live in Islington, the borough directly north of downtown, City of London. This experience - and location - was invaluable and greatly impacted my time while abroad. I got to meet students from all over the world while studying in one of the most international metropolises in the world. I was able to immerse myself in local cultures and explore London's nightlife and countless activities while not in class. I loved my time abroad, living in a flat and cooking for myself, with the freedom to both travel the globe and show my friends around my own neighborhood throughout the semester.
