Against this backdrop, you will learn all about tropical rainforest and canopy ecology through a hands-on field course based at an active biological research station. Spend your days hiking forest trails, observing wildlife, learning to climb into the rainforest canopy, and experiencing up-close the many ecosystems that make this region so extraordinary. Program Highlights
Learn rope-based canopy access techniques and spend time high in the treetops, where you can observe rainforest life from a completely new perspective.
Join a three-day field trip to the highlands of Boquete, experiencing cloud forests, waterfalls, gigantic trees, natural hot springs and a chance to spot the Resplendent Quetzal.
Enjoy beautiful Bocas del Toro as your classroom! You’ll have pristine rainforest and Caribbean beaches at your doorstep and opportunities to engage with the island’s dynamic mix of cultures.
