A semester internship at a renowned fashion house, a multinational marketing firm, or a not-for-profit organization is sure to give a boost to your résumé, not to mention enrolling in the optional Italian course to improve your language skills. Getting to work or class is surprisingly easy in the second largest city in Italy with the tram, subway, and bus systems, all part of Milan’s large and modern transportation network. During your lunch break, enjoy a warm bowl of minestrone or polenta e gorgonzola followed by torrone (nougat) on your way back to your internship.
