An experience I will remember forever
I always knew I wanted to study abroad in France but until I found IES i wasn’t sure of which program would be best. Once I found the language immersion, I knew that would be the right fit because I would be able to improve my language skills while also being immersed in the culture and experience. IES provided me with a housing arrangement which fit me personally, being able to interact with a family but still have the perfect amount of freedom and independence. I learned to use the trains, learned how to properly order coffee in French, and how to navigate the city with the help of new friends. The classes I took were challenging but gave me another chance to learn about history specific to Paris. It was as if I was living in a dream. I also got the chance to visit many other countries as well! I have IES to thank for my truly life-changing experiences and I will always be grateful.
