Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design - IED Barcelona

This program provides the resources you need to find ideas, plan, create, and make an impact with visual stories across a variety of settings. It focuses on experimentation and developing your own style, refined in online and offline projects during the four-year course.

You’ll develop versatility, commitment to value, and a critical eye, helping you explore all the steps of the creative process, from research and interpretation to creating proposals that meet the client's expectations and more. You'll learn to work with text, color, images, symbols, and illustrations to convey an effective message on paper, digital media, the internet, audiovisual media, and other platforms.

The syllabus encourages interdisciplinary interaction with other areas of visual communication, design, design strategies, fashion, and management in collaborative workshops and joint projects. Each subject you study is another step toward defining your personal style as a professional graphic designer, which you'll refine with every project you work on. The program culminates in a Final Project, working for a real company.

This course is taught in English and starts each September.
