Master’s Digital Arts & Creative Technologies - IED Madrid

From a multidisciplinary perspective, the Master's in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies will provide you with technical knowledge of various digital production tools. Through project-based learning, you’ll develop the ability to create artistic works in different formats, such as immersive installations, video games, websites, augmented reality applications, or audiovisual content. This approach will make you aware of the sociopolitical implications of the digital environment and prepare you to create with critical awareness and social responsibility.

This nine-month master’s program is aimed at individuals with a bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, architecture, audiovisual communication, or an equivalent field. This prior training ensures that future students, on the one hand, possess certain basic creative skills and, on the other, are familiar with digital creation tools commonly used in the discipline. Previous experience with software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, is required. Knowledge of basic programming or 3D modeling tools is recommended, though not mandatory.

The course is taught in English and starts in October.
