Master Interior Design for Commercial Spaces - IED Barcelona
Program Overview
A new dimension of interior design: the Master's in Interior Design for Commercial Spaces and Retail offers an international, interdisciplinary education. You'll explore key aspects such as leadership in innovation processes, creativity and project management, and the design of future commercial environments.
You’ll discover the role of the interior designer as a transversal figure, acting as a bridge between the brand and the end consumer. You will learn to coordinate and manage knowledge from various fields such as branding, commercial strategy, visual merchandising, and new technologies. You’ll also learn the profession’s core elements, including conceptualization, formalization, realization, lighting, representation, and project management.
Lasting 11 months, the program is structured around theoretical and practical training, with a focus on project development. The skills-based approach requires you to take an active role and includes collaborative experiences with leading brands in the sector.
This master's program is designed for creative professionals with backgrounds in disciplines related to interior design.
This course is taught in English and starts each January.
