HUFS Visiting Student Program
Program Overview
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) offers the Visiting Student Program to international students from non-partner universities, allowing them to study for one or two semesters. With no formal academic agreement required, they gain access to a global learning environment, taking courses taught by renowned professors.
The HUFS Visiting Program is ideal for those eager to experience academic life in Korea and earn credits toward their home university degree. Students must have a GPA of over 2.5 or B and the appropriate language proficiency requirement, either:
- a TOPIK or KLPT score (or equivalent) for students interested in taking Korean-taught courses but whose first language isn’t Korean
- IELTS or TOEFL score or a letter from a professor familiar with the student’s ability to perform and the expected standards of an anglophone academic atmosphere for students interested in taking English-taught courses but whose first language isn’t English
