Short-Term Community Development Internship in Nepal

I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience with GVI, from the warm homestay and staff welcome, to the projects and to the other volunteers I've met. I've feel satisfied that I've made a difference to the local communities and and left a positive mark on their lives. I also come away from my experience a more confident person which I am enormously grateful to GVI for - thank you!

The staff commitment to the projects and volunteers have made this an incredible experience. Employing local staff makes a huge difference on projects and all round the organization and clear communication has made this an experience I’ll never forget.

Thank you very much to the local field staff in Pokhara. We felt very well cared for and had a fabulous experience becoming acquainted with locals, learning about Nepalese culture and tradition, meeting other volunteers and working side by side with enthusiastic project leaders. I'd like to reiterate the recommendation that the women in the Women's Empowerment program would greatly benefit from and make greater strides in improving their english language skills if there existed a more structured lesson plan outline that volunteers could follow. Example: each woman embarks on a 12-part program and works towards graduating to the next level. Thank you for seeking my feedback!
