Zanzibar Community Outreach

Volunteer abroad by joining our community outreach in Zanzibar. This program includes volunteer involvement at local schools, working at the local Tourism Training Institute, and participating in an environmental program. Your tasks and responsibilities depend largely on the projects you support. You could:

- Teach English to children, teachers, and local adults
- Develop the children's creative skills through crafts such as painting, drawing, and coloring - Help maintain and even repair the facilities
- Teach keyboarding, English, and life skills
- Train students in basic administrative tasks and computer skills, such as CV writing
- Assist and supervise students during cooking classes, food and beverage management, and practical classes ('role-play', handling money, and others)
- Help to keep the beach & village areas beautiful by planting trees and working on other initiatives

Eligibility for the Zanzibar Community Outreach program includes:
Minimum age of 18
Good level of English
Flexibility & open-mindedness
High level of independence & emotional strength
Motivation to work with children
Full travel & medical insurance
