Contribute to the conservation of wolves in Portugal! The wolves at the reserve were rescued from captivity, and are living out their lives in this incredible large, natural habitat area.
Volunteers begin their voluntour with two days in a hostel in Lisbon, complete with a complimentary tour of their choosing! Once at the sanctuary, volunteers will be involved in food preparation and sanctuary maintenance activities. This combination program allows volunteers to have a cultural experience and an unforgettable experience contributing to the well-being of local wildlife!

The most memorable experience was being able to prepare the food and feed the wolves. We got to make special watermelons filled with their favourite meats and that kind of enrichment was really fun to be a part of. It was a blast preparing all that with the wonderful people who were also volunteering at the reserve!
