Program Overview

Join our unique volunteer program in Lisbon, Portugal, where you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against food waste. Become involved in collecting and packing leftover food from grocery stores and eateries, and then distributing it to those in need.

This program is for participants who:
- Are at least 16 years old, with parental consent
- Have a basic level of English
- Have undergone a criminal background check
- Have no serious medical issues

In addition to your volunteer work, have the chance to live in a sustainable hostel in a beach town, just 30 minutes away from the city center of Lisbon. This program offers a rich blend of community service, cultural immersion, and adventure.

Program Highlights

Become part of a global movement addressing the challenge of reducing food waste, directly contributing to the distribution of meals for over 3000 people and families in need.
Participate in meaningful volunteer work and community service, helping to distribute food to the homeless and families in need in Lisbon.
Live in a sustainable hostel located in a beautiful beach town near Lisbon, where you experience Portuguese culture firsthand and meet like-minded volunteers from all over the world.

Catering

I had a great experience with the catering service. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes.
