Teach English to local children in Cajamarca, Peru! This volunteer teaching project takes place at a kindergarten in Cajamarca whose goal is to begin to teach English to children at a young age. The children are between the ages of 2 and 4 at this kindergarten.
Volunteers will teach English through fun activities such as playing games and leading organized activities. Volunteers will also live in an authentic Peruvian style home made of adobe and stone. To enhance your experience, take part in Culture Week to explore Peru and become immersed in its culture.

The whole trip is incredibly memorable. Working in the kindergarten was incredibly rewarding work, to see how much the kids learned and grew. The people I met there will be friends I have for life, and not just other volunteers but the locals as well. The GoEco support team was very helpful through out the process!
Meeting people from all around the world and learning the culture first hand with the local family in which I stayed was great. it was an amazing experience. Not only did I get to meet new people in the volunteer place. I also made lots of friends in Maximo. They are really organized and always make sure that you are safe and feel right at home. Working at the nursing home it was such an amazing experience. I got to play with all of them and it was really rewarding when they saw you and they would just run to you to give you a huge hug and kiss. I loved every single minute I worked there,
I have had 3 wonderful weeks in Cusco, Peru! The experience was life changing, and Maximo was available for support the entire time! The people are so helpful and friendly! My home placements were outstanding, and my volunteer placement was very special! I highly recommend to all who want an incredible experience to contact GoEco!
My personal experience was great I got to spend time with the boys at the orphanage, and I really think I got through to some of them. I had a lot of personal free time, to enjoy the visiting country it was great. It was awesome seeing the relationships I formed with the children and staff bloom.
