Program Overview

Spend several months up to a year (or two years, depending on nationality) immersed in everyday life in Japan while gaining the freedom to travel, work, and explore independently. The GoEco Japan Working Holiday Support Program is designed for travelers who want more than a short-term visit, offering practical support and local guidance while allowing flexibility to shape your own experience.

Begin with 5 weeks of shared accommodation in Tokyo or Kyoto, providing time to adjust to life in Japan and complete important setup tasks such as local registration, banking, transportation guidance, and job preparation support. Throughout the program, you can get help finding paid work opportunities in areas such as tourism, hospitality, farm work, ski resorts, childcare, and assistant teaching roles.

You can likely join this program if you:
✔ Eligible for a Working Holiday visa for Japan
✔ 18–30 years old (depending on nationality)
✔ Hold a valid passport
✔ Have sufficient funds for the start of your stay

Important Note: U.S. passport holders are not yet eligible for a working visa in Japan. Consider our South Korea Working Holiday Program instead.
