internship experience

Hey, I'm Mark. Thanks to GAC, I snagged a finance internship gig here in Shanghai, China. Seriously, finding GAC was like hitting the jackpot! They not only hooked me up with a finance gig that's right up my alley but also made the whole process a breeze. My game plan? Get some real-world work experience before hitting the books at university. From the moment I landed, GAC had my back. They sorted out my phone, subway cards – you name it! And whenever I hit a snag, their team was on it, making sure I felt right at home in this new environment. Oh, and Saturdays? It's all about the fun – GAC plans out cool activities like food adventures and sports, making every weekend a blast. The internship itself? Awesome! Met some great folks, and the company GAC hooked me up with? Total pros. I've learned heaps about finance and how the industry ticks. Every day feels like a learning adventure, and I'm soaking it all up like a sponge. Thinking about interning in China? GAC's got your back! They not only sort out the logistics but also make you feel like family. With GAC in my corner, I know I've made the right call. This journey's been one for the books – unforgettable and full of eye-opening experiences!

I set up my own consultancy business!

The best consulting internships are right here. Thank you Go Abroad China for all your help before I left. They arranged transport, accommodation and helped me with my visa, and please be very careful with the visa, i were contacted with another of internship program provider but they offered me the visa with low response and illegal visa cant do internship. It really helped to know that everything was in place before I left home. I did 12 months at a marketing consultant internship at KPMG. The networking organized by Go abroad China opportunities were phenomenal. In this line of work, it’s crucial to have contacts and I made international contacts I could use even after I left China. I have now set up my own management consultancy business in UK, I gained valuable experience problem-solving at a senior level and I’ve taken this with me and used it. What better way to learn than actually doing? So, go for it. Try a consulting internship for yourself.

Business internship Beijing

I did a business internship in Beijing last summer and really had a good experience there. The business dealt with exports and supplies and my roles included helping maintain records of goods, ensuring with my boss which products are meant to leave and what time etc. After that usually I would need to write a report. I interned for only a month, and it just flew by very quickly. I contacted Go Abroad China to help me with this internship placement, keeping in mind my budget and other needs which included a place to live. They also helped me get introduced to the company right in Beijing and once on the weekend joined everyone for a trip to Beijing's Forbidden City. Generally speaking everything went smoothly and I got good treatment, I wish though I had the means to have been able to extend by a couple more weeks. But living in Beijing for that time was great, I enjoyed the city especially during my spare time during the weekends. One thing you need to be aware of is that the internship most times is like full time work. You check in like everybody else for around eight hours per day.
