German Language School (GLS) was established in 1983 by Barbara Jaeschke. GLS runs the GLS Campus in Berlin for adult students. They also provide various summer camps for juniors in München and Berlin.
GLS is Germany's only language school with an urban campus that sprawls 16.000 sqm, and includes two hotels. The campus facilities are second to none in Europe: 72 hotel rooms of premium standard, 50 apartments, a restaurant serving modern German food, and 60 bright classrooms. The campus can accommodate up to 600 students. All teachers hold university degrees.
An independent school, GLS continues to be directed by its founder, Barbara Jaeschke. The school has earned the Star School Germany award 5 times. The awards are offered in London every year by Study Travel Magazine, honoring the best language schools worldwide.
