Volunteer Coordinator and Events Planner Internship

Intern with Globalteer in Peru and make a real, lasting impact on the lives of children, communities, and animals. Plus, gain valuable life and workplace skills under the guidance of our experienced team.

Key duties:
Ensuring that volunteers have a smooth, well-organized experience
Coordinating transport and accommodation
Coordinating airport pickups, providing town tours, and orientations, and being the “face of Globalteer”
Familiarizing volunteers with their project, assuring they are introduced to staff and comfortable in their duties
Answering inquiries and being the “go-to” for any issues that come up
Organizing volunteer events and outings
General administration within the office
37.5-hour workweek
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Excellent communication skills
Spanish language skills
Numerate, well organized, and excellent attention to detail
Problem-solving skills
An outgoing personality, eager to meet new people and make connections
Flexible team player with energy and enthusiasm
A commitment to Globalteer’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy
Minimum age of 18
Comfortable working independently
