Volunteer Champion Internship with a UK Charity

Working with Globalteer, you will provide support to many charitable projects and make a real change in the lives of children, communities, and animals. You will gain valuable life & workplace skills under the guidance of our experienced team. Key duties: Following up on volunteer applications for projects worldwide Answering inquiries & responding to volunteers Maintaining volunteer placement booking records Sending pre-arrival info to volunteers Liaising with other staff in many locations regarding prospective volunteers Checking the background of volunteers to ensure they are suitable to work with children Reaching out to potential partners (universities, schools, or companies) General administration 37.5-hour work week Other duties as assigned Requirements: Fluent spoken & written English Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook Numerate, well organized & with excellent attention to detail Flexible team player with the energy & enthusiasm required to work in the charity sector A commitment to Globalteer's Code of Conduct & Child Protection Policy Minimum age of 18 Team player, but also comfortable working independently
