Volunteer at a Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary in Thailand

This sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals previously exploited as pets, used for profit within the tourist industry, or rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. Most of the animals residing at the sanctuary were maltreated before they arrived, suffering from abuse, malnutrition, neglect, and improper care. Many of them arrived with permanent disabilities; hence, cannot be returned to the wild. The mission is to give these animals the best quality of life possible in captivity.
