The best decision I have ever made!
March 03, 2023by: Paige Hill - AustraliaI’ve been living and working in Ireland since November 2022 and I’m a solo traveler, but I’ve met so many people and made lots of life long friends already! It feels like I live in a movie; I work, I live with 3 wonderful girls on similar trips to my own, I go out heaps and am honestly having the time of my life. I’ve developed so much confidence and grown so much over 3 months; my adventures have only begun! I would highly recommend doing something like this!! Pros: Meet lots of people Develop confidence Make so many memories Cons Can be daunting at first being in a different country Homesickness Can be a tad bit lonely

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a guaranteed job match mean?
We arrange a job interview for you before you arrive, taking your preferences into account where possible. Interviews are usually held online from home. If your first interview is unsuccessful, our team will organise another opportunity and continue supporting you through the job-matching process.
Can I choose where I work in Ireland?
We’ll consider your preferred job type and location wherever possible, but specific roles or destinations cannot be guaranteed. Working holiday jobs are typically social, entry-level opportunities that allow you to earn a local income, meet people and experience more of Ireland while you travel.
How does accommodation work in Ireland?
Some partner employers may offer staff accommodation, often shared with other travellers and sometimes at a reduced rate. If accommodation is not included with your job, your local support team will provide guidance and resources to help you find a suitable place to live.
Will I have time to travel?
Yes. Most working holiday roles provide regular working hours while still giving you opportunities to explore. Your exact schedule and time off will depend on your employer, but you can use weekends, holidays and time between jobs to discover more of Ireland and travel further afield.
What support will I receive during my trip?
Support starts before departure and continues while you’re overseas. You’ll receive guidance with your Working Holiday visa, job matching, accommodation, pre-departure planning and settling into Ireland, plus access to ongoing local assistance and emergency support during your trip.
